CHAPTER NINE
TOM didnât switch on the light as he carried Hannah into her bedroom. He didnât need to. He could enjoy her beautiful body just as much by touch and taste and feel.
A shiver ran through him as he laid her down on the bed. He had never envisaged this happening, actively tried to prevent it, but now they had reached this point he knew that he wouldnât regret it. No matter how hard it was in the future or how much he missed her, he would never wish that this night had never happened.
The thought filled him with tenderness as he bent and brushed her mouth with his. Her lips were so soft and sweet that he couldnât seem to get enough of them so the kiss ran on and on until they were both breathless. Drawing back, he stared into her face, loving the way that she didnât try to hide her feelings from him. Hannah had enjoyed the kiss as much as he had done and she was willing to own up to it too.

It was as though the feel of her mouth under his had opened up all the secret places inside him and the emotions heâd kept hidden there had come pouring out. If this was the difference between making love and having sex then it struck him how much heâd been missing.
His hand smoothed down her body, faithfully following the swell of her breasts, the dip of her waist, the curve of her hips. Although she was slender, she had curves in all the right places and he gloried in the feel and shape of her. His hand glided on, reached her thighs and lingered while he took a moment to breathe. It sounded crazy but his lungs didnât seem able to draw in enough oxygen any longer.
He breathed in greedily then groaned when he felt her nipples pressing against his chest. It would have taken a lot more willpower than he possessed to ignore their demand. His hand swept back up her body until it was cupping her left breast, the pad
